What is House of MC?
House of MC is a platform for the fashion conscious, savvy and busy woman who considers sustainability in her purchases. Our model includes not only exclusive styles for rent but also offers High Jewellery Hire, hair, beauty and personal shopping concierge services. House of MC is an alternative for women to hire a gown for a fraction of the retail price and even be adventurous by trying styles they would not normally wear! At the same time, our clients can choose to only rent a gown or add-on services as befitting their budget and event requirements – all under one roof! For the non-converts, we operate a retail side with exclusive brands and styles for purchase.

Our styles follow current and future trends and we want you to unwind while we take care of every detail of your appearance (hair, makeup, jewellery, shoes and bags if required) without the hassle and keeping within your budget. We work with our clients to give them a memorable experience and tie together all the elements that will make this happen. What are the operating hours for your boutique?
Our Showroom is open Sunday-Wednesday from 11am-7pm, Thursday and Saturday from 11am-8:30, but we’d be happy to accommodate a Style Consultation that works best with your schedule outside of our normal business hours. How many days can I keep an item for?
Our rental period is for 3 days. You will receive an item on the first day and return it on the third. Please note that items cannot be delivered to you and back to us on Fridays so the rental period will be increased for over-the-weekend events, however you will not be charged for the additional day.
Can I borrow an item for more than 3 days?
Yes. You can do so by speaking to one of our Style Consultants either via email or phone. Additional charges will apply.
How can I know for sure that the item will fit?
We display as much information as we can on our site to make sure that you can find the perfect fit for you, and our Style Consultants are always available, online or at our Maison, to answer any questions while our tailor will be able to offer any temporary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit. Nevertheless, should you receive an item that does not quite fit, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to offer a solution.
Why can’t I find my size?
Many of the styles that we carry are unique, or one-of-a-kind, so we aren’t able to offer a full size run for every single style. Our goal is to offer a library of unique and special items that no one else will be wearing. We are confident that we will be able to offer you a selection to suit your style and occasion regardless of your size.
How often are new items available?
We follow the buying seasons in the fashion industry. House of MC carries the latest trends and styles fresh off the runways of the fashion capitals of the world so our selection is updated periodically throughout the year.
Do you offer alterations?
We work with highly skilled tailors to offer temporary alterations on items where this is possible and private fittings at our Maison in Dubai Design District.
Do I have to iron or steam my item?
Every piece we send out is placed in protective garment bags. Fabrics have a life of their own so some might require steaming upon arrival. Please use a steamer on low heat and do not place the steamer too close to the fabric or embellishment.
How often do you dry clean an item?
We have every piece professionally cleaned, after every single wear.
How is the item sent to me?
House of MC offers free delivery in Dubai. We deliver within the rest of the United Arab Emirates although an additional shipping fee will be applied.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
Subject to item availability, yes. Deliveries within the United Arab Emirates will be at a higher shipping cost and the order needs to be placed by 12pm, we will have this delivered to you by end of day (9pm latest). You may order a same-day item after 12pm, but please note that you will be responsible for the collection from our boutique before 7pm.
Where is your Maison located?
We are located in Dubai Design District, Building 3, Unit 601.
How do I return an item?
You will receive instructions in your delivery to clarify the steps you will need to take. With the exception of hand-delivery to our boutique, all returns must be made by 6pm on the final day of your rental period. Any items returned after 6pm will result in a late fee.
Why was I charged a late fee?
The event and experience of another client depends on the timely return of your item, and any late returns will impact someone else.
What is the security deposit charge on my invoice?
We are aware that any small or accidental damages might occur to an item during a fun night, hence we will beholding a security deposit to make sure that your item is covered and protected. Should there is no damages to the item, the deposit is returned to you on return of the item. Please note that this fee is for minor repairs and will not cover significant damages caused by neglect.
What happens if I damage an item I rent?
Please note that we don’t consider normal signs of wear a damage. If a piece is returned to us showing severe damages, stains or tears, or if it lost while in your possession, you will be charged the full retail value of the piece as detailed in your agreement with us.
Can I cancel an order?
You are entitled to cancel an order either by contacting a Style Consultant via email or phone 7 days prior to the rental date. Cancellations within 7 days of the booking date will result in a charge being applied.
What are the fees for canceling an order?
You may cancel an order at any time, however some charges will incur. We will have to charge 50% of the total rental amount, or in-store credit for the amount of 100% of the rental if you cancel within 7 days before the rental period starts. Store credit is to be used within 12 months before expiring.
Can I edit my order after I place it?
To edit your order please contact us by email or phone. Please note that within 7 days prior to the booking charges may apply.
What if the item I chose doesn’t fit?
If the item you rented doesn’t fit, please contact our Styling Team within 24 hours after delivery and we will find you an alternative solution.
